Supported files and safe rejections
Standard still JPG and PNG images are supported. MOV and MP4 support H.264 or HEVC video with PCM audio or no audio. Compressed audio such as AAC, used in many phone MP4s, is not yet supported in strict mode: its optional data fields need additional validation before this app can promise complete metadata removal.
Custom color profiles, some HDR features, subtitles, and extra media tracks may also require rejection. Your original file stays unchanged.

The content stays intact
Required display and playback information is retained. Files that cannot be safely cleaned are rejected.
